We did not have shipping for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly (Laura Wright) on our 2026 bingo card, but it happened. The chemistry between these two has been off the charts, and even they can’t hide it.
Carly and Valentin have that classic soap opera fighting that should lead to a coupling. They don’t have to be endgame. However, Varly deserves a chance at romance because, honestly, we just want more of Wright and Stuart heating up our screens.
Tracy and Martin Need to Hook Up
Over on Reddit, a thread stated, “What are some GH couples you wish the writer would put together?” Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Martin (Michael E. Knight) were mentioned more than once, and we are so here for that pairing.
Tracy and Martin both deserve some love. It’s been a while since either of them had a special someone. Much like Valentin and Carly, Martin and Tracy dislike each other, which has the makings of a good couple, and they are always entertaining together as well.
Shipping Michael and Jacinda
The same Reddit thread also mentioned Jacinda (Paige Herschell) and Michael (Rory Gibson). These two have sparks flying all over the place, while also being another unlikely duo.
After all, their fling started because Michael needed an alibi for the night Drew (Cameron Mathison) was shot. Things quickly took a turn for Michael and Jacinda even before they hit the sheets. Feelings are developing, and this is romance we can get behind if the writers give them half a chance.
Give Portia And Isaiah A Real Shot At Romance
There’s no question that Portia (Brook Kerr) ditching Curtis (Donnell Turner) for Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) was for the best. Portia can be herself with Isaiah as opposed to being on guard all the time with Curtis, and she’s far more interesting without her soon-to-be ex-husband.
Portia and Isaiah have something about them that we can’t quite put our finger on, but we hope 2026 will let us figure it out with them as a couple. Even if Curtis is the father of Portia’s baby, the writers need to keep her with Isaiah because they are a refreshing change.
Another GH Love Triangle
Ever since he arrived in Port Charles, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has been romancing Lucy (Lynn Herring) for his own gain. Recently, though, Ava (Maura West) has caught Sidwell’s eye, much to Lucy’s dismay.
Ava and Sidwell are bringing the heat, for sure. Instead of a new duo, though, we are so here for a good old-fashioned soap love triangle with Lucy, Ava, and Sidwell.
Watching Lucy and Ava take jabs at each other on Boxing Day was hilarious, and we want more of that. Talk about entertaining, especially as each lady learns what Sidwell’s really doing in Port Charles.
