General Hospital is missing the mark by not moving forward with a Cody and Molly pairing. They clearly have chemistry, but Kristina and her meddling ways are throwing a wrench into the potential couple.
Cody Is What Molly Needs
After finding love with TJ (Tajh Bellow) as a teen, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) needs a little Cody (Josh Kelly) in her life. Molly has always been a straight-and-narrow workaholic, and TJ was the same way.
Cody’s more of a free spirit, who’s used his charm to con his way through life. They are complete opposites, which is why they work. Molly needs to loosen up more, and Cody definitely needs to straight up more.
There is chemistry between Kelly and Vaganos, but not in a sparks-are-flying kind of way. It’s more of a slow burn that could build to a fire if given a chance. They remind us of back-in-the-day soap couples that the shows took their time building up, which led to supercouple status.
Molly clearly has a thing for Cody, and the feeling is mutual. Every time they are together, they look like high school kids with a crush they don’t know how to act on.

Fans Are Here for Molly and Cody
We aren’t the only ones who feel GH needs to give Molly and Cody a shot. Social media has been on fire with fans expressing their thoughts on Cody and Molly getting together.
“Cody: Enjoy your research. Don’t work too passionately. Molly: I will. I mean — I won’t. I loveee them. 😂😂#GH,” wrote a fan on X.
One fan said, “#GH Cody and Molly really have the makings of a great romantic comedy couple that’s been missing on daytime.”
Another fan expressed, “Cody + Molly are very cute together #GH.”
“Looking forward to Molly and Cody working out and being a fun couple #GH,” declared a different fan.
One fan stated, “#GH I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m enjoying Cody and Molly now.”
Thanks to Kristina (Kate Mansi) being selfish and Cody’s desperate need for money, GH fans probably won’t see Cody and Molly get together anytime soon. It’s a bummer, too, because we are ready for this ship.
