General Hospital’s Chase has done a 180 in the past few months, risking everything for Willow of all people and becoming obsessed with making Michael pay. However, there’s one way for Chase to make things right before he literally throws his life away for a woman who cheated on him.
Key Takeaways
- GH fans have an interesting take on how Chase can save himself before it’s too late.
- Chase’s obsession with both Michael and Willow has gone too far.
- Why the fan theory won’t happen, and Chase will lose it all for a guilty Willow.
Here’s How Chase Can Be Redeemed on GH
Chase (Josh Swickard) finding the key to Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) house that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) planted on Michael (Rory Gibson) was predictable. It makes no sense that Chase would know it’s the key to Drew’s house, but that’s besides the point. This is Port Charles, after all.
There is a way that Chase could turn back into the stand-up guy we all love and the man Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) married. The idea came from a couple of GH fans on X.
“I think Chase uses the key to go inside the house, she won’t know he is inside the house and he ends up hearing everything Willow is saying to Drew. Boom,” wrote one fan.
Another fan echoed the same thing, stating, “OK, y’all hear me out. Chase is going to take Michael [sic] keys, realize it’s to Drew [sic] house and then he’s going to let his self [sic] in and overhear Willow admitting everything.”
We love the idea of Chase busting Willow and proving that Michael is not guilty, like wacky Willow wants Chase to think.
However, things most definitely won’t go that way. If Chase were to overhear Willow admitting she shot Drew and incapacitated him, she would just talk her way out of it.
The writers have Chase blindly following Willow and taking anything she says as the truth. Chase has lost his cop brain and his ability to think for himself, so it’s unlikely he will believe Willow harmed Drew.
It’s honestly become way too much, especially since he keeps putting Willow above his marriage to Brook Lynn.
Adding fuel to the fire is Chase’s sudden obsession with taking down Michael. Chase’s behavior would have made more sense after Michael slept with Willow while Chase was married to her.
Now, though, it’s just come out of left field because Chase is suddenly ride-or-die for Willow.
Nothing about Chase’s actions recently is true to the character, and unfortunately, the writers seem to like it that way. We predict that Chase’s loyalty to Willow is only going to get worse and destroy his relationship with Brook Lynn and the rest of the Quartermaine family.
Here’s hoping we are wrong, because boy, would it be a nice twist if Chase busted Willow and actually made her pay for her crimes.
