Chase and Brooklyn were once one of the best couples on General Hospital, but he is blowing that all up. The whole family is beginning to dislike him, and it’s not only about Willow.
Key Takeaways
- Chase put everything in jeopardy by coming to Willow’s defense.
- Accusing Tracy of stealing from Drew and Willow was not a good move.
- Gio defended Tracy like a “true” Q.
- Chase had the nerve to question Jason’s parenting.
- Chase may not last much longer at the Qs.
The Willow Factor
Chase’s (Josh Swickard) problems began when he jumped to Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) defense. His ex became this damsel in distress that he had to protect, but at what cost?
The detective took it upon himself to investigate Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting so that he could clear Willow. He tried to shift the blame onto Michael (Rory Gibson), who was once his best friend and is his wife’s cousin. This got him suspended and demoted at the PCPD. He put Willow’s needs above those of Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and the family.
He will soon discover that Willow was the shooter after all. Will he regret his actions then?
Don’t Go Against Tracy
Tracy (Jane Elliot) sees what Chase has been up to, and she doesn’t approve. She has been giving him grace because her granddaughter loves him, and Tracy adored his father. That will only last for so long.
Drew stole the Quartermaine heirlooms right under their noses, and he left Ned (Wally Kurth) dying on the street during his heart attack. Tracy can play dirty, too, so she went to Drew’s house while he was in the hospital and took back her family’s things. Was this the right thing to do? Maybe, maybe not, but this is Port Charles, where anything goes.
Tracy worried her family, but when she returned victorious, Chase called her out on “stealing” from Drew and Willow (again with the poor Willow). When Gio (Giovanni Mazza) defended his great-grandma, Chase called him a true Quartermaine. Tracy loved it when Gio took that as a compliment.
Who Does He Think He Is?
Strike three for Chase was questioning Jason (Steve Burton) about his whereabouts during the snowstorm. He went even further by criticizing Jason’s parenting. That is not any of his business, and he has no right sticking his nose in where it doesn’t belong.
Chase was lucky that Jason didn’t hit him. Speaking of hitting him, we cannot forget his fistfight with Michael (Rory Gibson) over, once again, Willow. It is only a matter of time before he pushes BLQ too far and she throws him out of the house, the family, and their marriage.
