Jason, Britt, Nathan, oh my! Characters returning from the dead has been a common theme in the last year on General Hospital. Now, as a name from the past floats around Port Charles, are they hinting at another shocking return?
Another Cassadine Back?
The Cassadine family has been looking a little slim in recent years. With Nikolas (Adam Huss) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) both being in prison, Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) being presumed dead, and the rest of the clan having died off decades ago, only one true Cassadine remains. While Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn, who recently celebrated 30 years on GH), Kristina (Kate Mansi), and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) all have Cassadine blood, it’s little Ace who remains as the only Cassadine heir.
But what if that isn’t true? While it was never made official by neither Nikolas nor Stefan (Stephen Nichols), what if Katherine Bell (Mary Beth Evans) isn’t so dead after all?
It wasn’t too long ago Ned (Wally Kurth) mentioned the late Katherine, and their two portrayers even share history on Days of our Lives. Lois (Rena Sofer) also talked about how Reginald the Butler poisoned Katherine recently, sparking the thought that this memorable character from the 90s could soon be seen on screen again.
While Katherine’s exes Stefan and Nikolas are either dead or not currently in Port Charles, she does still have connections there. Because Cody (Josh Kelly) was raised by The Bells, Katherine is his adoptive sister. And let’s not forget that Obrecht once admitted that she was the one who pushed Katherine off the Wyndemere parapet!
