General Hospital‘s Britt has finally told Jason the truth. Knowing Jason, he will help her out of the mess she is in, and we are here for it. But was her Huntington’s Disease ever real?
Key Takeaways
- Britt was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease, inherited from her father, Faison.
- She was forced to work for Sidwell to get drugs for her illness.
- Tests could have been switched so that Britt thought she had the disease.
- Jason will help Britt out of the mess.
- Josslyn is also looking into the goings-on at Wyndemere.
Britt’s Test Results
Back before Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) “died,” she was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease. It made sense because she was displaying symptoms, and her evil father, Faison (ex-Anders Hove), suffered from the illness. Britt confided in Jason (Steve Burton) when the two became close, but then he left her to save Carly (Laura Wright). Soon after, Stonecold was presumed dead and Britt was “murdered.”
Britt is alive and being kept symptom-free from Huntington’s with a drug given to her by Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Their goal is to force her to do research for Faison’s final project. They have her exactly where they want her.
But what if Britt never had Huntington’s at all? Tests are switched and falsified all the time in Port Charles. Cullum and Sidwell may have done just that so Britt would do their bidding. She believes this drug is helping her, but maybe it’s just doing a big, fat nothing. She could have been manipulated for years.
Jason And Joss To The Rescue
Britt finally trusts Jason, and he knows everything that she has been going through. He is there to help, and the two of them may figure out what is really going on at Wyndemere.
Then there is Josslyn (Eden McCoy), who is getting closer to the truth on her own. She is inside the creepy castle with Cullum and is starting to sense that something is not right there, and it may have to do with Anna (Finola Hughes), who is being held captive right underneath her.
It’s time for the cavalry to ride in and take down the bad guys. When that happens, Britt may discover that she has been healthy all along.
