General Hospital has been on fire this summer. The week of August 18-22 has given us moments that we didn’t even see coming. Here are our favorites from the week.
Joss & Vaughn’s Moment
The week started with a bang when Josslyn (Eden McCoy) shot the intruder who was strangling Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). Joss is a pretty good shot for someone who was recently fast-tracked through WSB training!
It was the aftermath that gave us all the feels. Joss was definitely suffering through some trauma, and Vaughn found her fully clothed, sitting on the shower floor with the water running. The way he sat down next to her without saying a word and held her showed a sweeter side of the WSB handler. It was a beautiful moment. What happened between them afterwards may end up causing problems between the two, but that is an issue for another day.
Jason & Britt First Look
It had been years since Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason (Steve Burton) last saw each other. They both believed the other one was dead. Jason tracked her down at the Five Poppies Resort, and when he walked into her room, the look between them was electric. Fans hoped that the two would fall into each other’s arms and he would rescue her, but that didn’t exactly happen. Britt was furious with him about the past, and she let him have it before throwing him out of her room. We know this is not the end. There is much more to be discovered, and in time, this may be the love we have been waiting for.
Chase And Martin For The Win
What was better than seeing Drew (Cameron Mathison) knocked down a peg? He believed that provoking Michael (Rory Gibson) into hitting him would get Sonny (Maurice Benard) to bend to his will, but his scheme did not work this time.
He thought witnesses at the Metro Court would support him in droves but that didn’t happen. The look on his face when Chase (Josh Swickard) said, “No one remembers Michael hitting you, Congressman Caine,” was classic. To add insult to injury, Martin (Michael E Knight) finally getting a backbone and turning on him was a joy to see.
Lulu The Peacemaker
Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) softer side is finally coming out. She has been cranky ever since coming out of her coma, but possibly losing Maxie is giving her a new perspective. First, she was kind and understanding towards Liesl (Kathleen Gati). Then she extended an olive branch to her mortal enemy, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). This is the Lulu we have been waiting for.
