General Hospital has been on the air since 1963, and there has been plenty of love in the afternoon. 2024 brought us new couples, breakups, and make-ups. Here is a look at some of the best couples of the year.

Til Death

Unfortunately, 2024 ended with Dex’s (Evan Hofer) death. But before the tragedy, his romance with Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was wonderful to watch. Joss grew up in Port Charles, and she had a few teen romances. She and Oscar (Garren Stitt) ended in a heartwrenching death, and she broke poor Cameron’s (William Lipton) heart. Her relationship with Dex was her first adult love.

These two made each other better. Dex seemed to calm Joss, and she helped him leave the danger of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) organization. It’s too bad that this couple had a tragic end.

Happily Married

After a long time of will they or won’t they, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) tied the knot in 2024. This couple is so in love with each other and just adorable together. They work as a team and always have each other’s backs.

They are both caring. When Chase’s niece Violet (Jophielle Love) needed them, BLQ and Chase stepped up and loved her like she was their own child. They are there for one another while also willing to help any of the many people living at the Quartermaine’s. Hopefully, whatever is brewing with Gio’s (Giovanni Mazza) parentage will not break this couple up in 2025.

Kissing Cousins

Before the icky “we are cousins” end of their relationship, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody (Josh Kelly) were a great couple. He went to the ends of the earth to save her from a mental institution, a villainous doctor, and a crazy mother-in-law. If that’s not love, what is?

Cody was patient and waited for Sasha to be ready to begin a new relationship. Just when it finally looked like a great love, they discovered they were related. This couple will never be, but maybe one day they can end up as great friends.
