General Hospital has always had an abundance of heroes, whether they’re saving the world from evil weather machines, throwing renegade mobsters into prison, or simply taking in an abandoned child. But if you were in any kind of trouble, who in Port Charles would you want to come to your rescue? Here’s how over 2,000 fans voted:
He may be brain damaged, he may be monosyllabic, he may be unemotional, but Jason (Steve Burton) gets the job done. A whopping majority 80% of you want to see this black T-shirt wearing hitman in your corner. Viva la mob!
Trust the Pros
It wasn’t even close, as the next biggest vote-getter, Curtis (Donell Turner) only scored 7% of the vote. Maybe because he’s a little closer to the right side of the law? But he knows how to cross the chasm when he needs to.
There there’s the 6% of the audience that prefers Chase (Josh Swickard). You know how he’s a cop and not a criminal? Yeah, that’s a real turn-on. Nobody wants to be saved from a crime — just to be thrown in jail for whom they’re hanging around with.
An even smaller 4% is rooting for Robert (Tristan Rogers). He’s the District Attorney now — apparently, he got his law degree at some point before coming to Port Charles, chasing the Cassadines. He used to be the Police Commissioner. He’s in the World Security Bureau. He’s got that adorable Australian accent. Why not?
Worst of All
And then there’s the 2% for Anna (Finola Hughes). She’s a badass. She’s been police commissioner. And WSB — and DVX double-agent, too! She’s smart, she’s capable, she has lovely hair. But she’s a lady person. Silly poll… lady persons can’t be heroes! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
