Lovin’ Chillow: Will Chase and Willow Be General Hospital’s Next Supercouple?

On General Hospital, Chase is a cop with a past that includes dating one seriously crazy chick. And not much else. Willow appears to be a prim and proper schoolteacher, except she’s also given a baby up for adoption — and escaped a cult.

So, that’s more than Chase (Josh Swickard) has done — even though he’s been on the canvas longer. But, is it enough for fans to care about either of them — much less the possibility of them getting together?

Does this pairing have super couple potential? Over 6,000 fans gave the matter some serious thought:

Give It a Whirl
If Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) can handle Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina’s (Michelle Stafford) brand of parenting, she should be able to deal with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) — if and when Chase’s ex ever returns.

Of course, Nelle coming back would open up a whole other can of worms. Such as the fact that the baby Willow had with Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and gave up for adoption to Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad (Parry Shen) actually died, and it’s Nelle and Michael’s (Chad Duell) tot that Willow has been mooning over.

But, Chase has had his own screwed up family to deal with. He should have no trouble being there for Willow. So, let the next great Port Charles romance begin, 78% of you cheer.

Back Off
A newbie whose related to a newbie is dating a newbie who is connected to an even “newbier” newbie? And you’re supposed to give this couple your hearts? Not so fast, 22% of the audience is holding back.

Neither one is particularly interesting on their own, except as how they relate to more important characters. Why should the possibility of being getting together get your blood pumping? You’d rather wait to care about Chase and Willow individually before you’re inclined to give a fig about their love lives.
