Chloe Lanier Bids Goodbye To GH… But It Doesn’t Look Like Forever

This week was the last General Hospital (GH) fans have seen of Nelle… or was it? While Chloe Lanier indeed opted not to renew her contract and left the 55-year-old soap, remember how wide open the door is for her return.

In fact, Lanier was quick to point out that Nelle is nowhere near dead and that means she can always cause more Port Charles trouble.

In a tweet, she reminded us that Nelle is still kicking (literally, as she kicked her way through the PCPD while being physically restrained)… and that she’s not done.

What that means exactly is anyone’s guest, but Lanier has said in interviews she’d be thrilled to return for brief story arcs ONLY as Nelle (not a new character, as she was quick to point out).

Well, Nelle did get carted off to somewhere (Ferncliff? Pentonville?) with one mother of a secret. She didn’t get to keep her baby after all this (her choice), but at least Michael doesn’t have him either and gets to grieve the little boy because he thinks he’s dead.
