Good New Ahead For Soap Sibling Duo Kristen Alderson and Eddie Alderson

Over a dozen soap stars flew to Marco Island in Florida this past Memorial Day weekend for Soapfest, which raises money to help children with autism, and it gave Soap Hub the chance to catch up with those sweet acting siblings — former One Life to Live stars, Eddie and Kristen Alderson.

They were a huge hit with all of the fans, spending time with each and every person who wanted to have a moment with them to get a picture and an autograph. During the Saturday night event, all of the actors gave a brief update about what they have been up to and both actors had a good time with that.

Eddie (ex-Matthew Buchanan) joked that while he’s currently unemployed, he could have been on one of the silent auctions to be Christian Le Blanc’s next housemate, which cracked up the audience and his fellow actors on the stage. After that, he admitted to traveling and golfing.

Kristen (ex-Starr; ex-Kiki, General Hospital) got the mic next and told the audience that she’s been doing great. She talked about the incredibly fun she’s had with her recent Broadway role that she’s been doing for the past year (hear more about that in the interview above), which received a great deal of applause from her fellow actors.

The next day on the cruise, both actors talked with Soap Hub and Eddie gave an update about how his health has been. Soap Hub has been following his battle with cancer and is happy to report it’s a wonderful update. Watch the video above and find out!
