Claudette sure doesn’t seem like the motherly type on General Hospital–and she knows it. She doesn’t even seem to really care about this kid she seemed to find out of nowhere–and maybe that’s because she isn’t even hers–at least not biologically.

Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) premonition that she would have a granddaughter had to come from someplace, and Lulu (Emme Rylan) has been on that eternal search for the embryos possibly created with her egg and Stavros’ sperm. There has to be a reason Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) seems to want Charlotte–and that would be because she’s a Cassadine–not a Lavery.

While this is pure speculation, we can already see the writing on the wall. Next week, spoilers reveal that Laura (Genie Francis) meets Charlotte for the first time, which would have no significance if they’re not related in any way. What would Laura have to do with Charlotte if she belongs to Claudette (Bree Williamson) and Griffin (Matt Cohen)?

Then, on Friday, Laura told Lulu how it would be nice to put everything Cassadine behind them once and for all. (Well, you’d think she’d want to remember her son, Nikolas, but we digress…) As soon as Laura said that, they cut right to a scene with Claudette and Charlotte. Possibly a little Cassadine/Spencer child, meaning they can’t put that creepy clan behind them after all.

So, how is Claudette involved with this? Perhaps she is the person who carried the embryo to term and gave birth to it, also becoming somewhat attached to the little girl after she was born. We’d guess she was paid a whole lot of money to do this, but we already know Claudette is a gold digger.

Yes, we know those embryos were created only about two years ago in Earth time, but remember–this is a soap. Time is all relative and SORAS reigns supreme. So, if we suspend out disbelief with age, Charlotte as Lulu’s is definitely possible.
