General Hospital has cast a new Jordan, in light of Vinessa Antoine landing a role on the Canadian series Diggstown.
While there was buzz that Mishael Morgan (ex-Hilary, The Young and the Restless) was up for the role, the show has cast another actress in the part… and she has a tie to Y&R, too!
Soap Opera Digest reports that Briana Nicole Henry has been tapped to take over the role of Port Charles’ police chief.
Technically, Henry does count as an ex of Devon’s (Bryton James) from Y&R. She played the part of Esmeralda in Genoa City back in 2014.
The role of Jordan is a pivotal one right now as she’s engaged to Curtis, planning a wedding, and dealing with Curtis’s meddling aunt, as well as his ex-girlfriend.
Henry’s other credits include Shameless, Jane the Virgin, and Undateable.
She may be new to GH, but she has something in common with another Port Charles newcomer, Josh Swickard (Chase). Both have worked as spinning instructors at SoulCyle.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
