Sam seems more worried about Drew’s feelings than Jason’s and her own on General Hospital (GH), which is something Carly pointed out to her with ease, but that’s Carly.
However, Carly (Laura Wright) also said that Drew (Billy Miller) might not make it without Sam (Kelly Monaco), but isn’t he a grown man and didn’t he have a life before her–even a life in Port Charles before believing he was Jason?
Soap Hub asked if you agree with Carly’s assessment that Drew needs Sam and over 6,000 of you pretty much told it like it is.
He Was a SEAL, He’ll Be FINE
Well, it might hurt, but Drew is a big boy and even a former Navy SEAL, say 85% of you. Sure, he will be crushed if Sam eventually chooses Jason (Steve Burton), but he’ll go on. And, if he remembers his former life, he might want to explore that–and Kim, and Oscar–and not NEED Sam, but always still love her.
Drew has proven himself over the last three years as being pretty self-sufficient and even after learning he was Jason (which, of course, he is not), he tried to live his own life with nobody. He can do it because it is who he is.

But He Needs His Woman
Of course, there’s another 15% who seem to have no faith in a man who fought across enemy lines on top secret missions for the United States military. If he doesn’t have the love of a good woman, he might fall apart.
Drew needs Sam to hold onto his sanity, you believe. It’s been a rough few years and Sam has been his rock, so you want her to stay with him for his sake, but what about hers? Hmmm…
