Is there something in the water at General Hospital? Fresh on the heels of the news that Tyler Christopher will NOT be returning to GH after all, and the day after Teresa Castillo last airs as a living Sabrina, come reports that Bryan Craig has quit the 53-year-old soap.
According to Daytime Confidential, Craig chose to leave GH after playing the role of Morgan Corinthos since 2013.
Like Christopher, Craig also took home an Emmy this year — in the Outstanding Younger Leading Actor category. (Christopher won for Outstanding Lead Actor.) His portrayal of the bipolar Morgan has mesmerized fans and have them rooting for him, even as the story now calls for the character to inadvertently take the wrong medication. (The evil Ava switched his pills.)
Craig also took to Twitter this afternoon to thank fans and ABC for the last few years of his life.
To the wonderful fans who have embraced and loved Morgan as one of their own, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am extremely grateful to @ABCNetwork , Frank Valentini and the entire GH cast and crew for the opportunity and their unyielding support.
