Bryan Craig Lands Plum Role On Brand-New ABC Drama

Bryan Craig has certainly kept himself busy since leaving the General Hospital (GH) role of Morgan Corinthos behind back in late 2016.

While some of that busy time was even related to GH, much of it has not been. Sure, he won his second Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor last May after leaving the soap.

And, earlier this year he reprised Morgan for one day during Ava’s horrific dream, but those seem like pit stops.

Now, Craig has landed the role of Javi, a rebellious playboy who will do anything to defy his father on the new ABC series, Grand Hotel.

According to Deadline, Grand Hotel takes place in a ritzy area of Miami and focuses on the family that owns this upscale hotel.

The staff also play a central role in this dramatic series produced by Desperate Housewives (and daytime) alum Eva Longoria.

While fans still hold out hope that Morgan is alive and Craig will one day return to the role, he is having too much success right now for that to seem feasible. He has a recurring role on the CW series Valor, and also had prominent roles in two indie films yet to be released–American Fighter and Ride.

Now, this doesn’t mean Morgan is not alive out there somewhere since this is a soap and a body was never found. GH can always opt to recast the role while Craig’s star soars.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
