It’s A Bryan Craig General Hospital Reunion On Grand Hotel

It’s been almost three years since Bryan Craig left the role of Sonny and Carly’s only biological child together at the time, Morgan, on General Hospital. Since that time, he has joined the hit ABC show, Grand Hotel, where he is about to have a GH reunion.

That’s because, according to the September 2 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Ava and Grace Scarola, who play Avery — Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) daughter with Ava (Maura West), will be guest-starring on the 11th episode of Grand Hotel.

It airs this coming Monday, August 26, but while their character is connected to Craig’s, they won’t be sharing a scene together… exactly. Well, they will have a scene with Javi — but he won’t be the one playing him.

You see, they will be playing a younger version of Alicia — the sister of Craig’s character, Javi — during flashbacks that will explore their memories about what happened to their late mother, who is played by former The Young and the Restless star, Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella), Grand Hotel’s executive producer and a director on the show.

While everyone knows that on GH Avery is Sonny’s daughter and therefore would be Craig’s character Morgan’s half-sister, there is a contingent of fans who believe it’s highly possible that Avery is actually the daughter of Ava and Morgan — not Sonny.

That’s because many think that Carly (Laura Wright) manipulated the paternity test results, which would explain why Carly pushed for Sonny to get custody away from Ava even more than Sonny. If Avery is indeed their granddaughter and not just her step-daughter, things could get interesting if that ever comes out.

In the meantime, the two young actresses have a life to live outside of their exciting Hollywood careers — they just experienced their first day of kindergarten, looking absolutely adorable (see below)!

Unfortunately, it wasn’t all smiles, according to their Instagram account (mom), “One went in with no issues, the other had a few tears and mommy is feeling empty nested.” General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
