The bond between brothers is a strong one on General Hospital — sometimes. Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) took a while to warm up to each other. AJ (Sean Kanan) and Jason (Steve Burton) never quite reconciled. And the Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ric (Rick Hearst) family feud actually let to blood-shed.
Now, there are Jason and Drew (Billy Miller). Twins who didn’t know the other existed. Viewers didn’t know they existed either. And Jason was a character who was born on-screen — albeit while his biological mom, Susan, was out of town. So, sure, it’s kosher.
Drew was part of a twins experiment that culminated with him being given Jason’s memories, to the point where Drew was presumed to be Jason when Jason was presumed to be dead.
Since Jason’s return and Drew’s identity crisis, the pair have been wary of each other. But, should they grow closer? Here’s what over 3,000 viewers had to say about it:
Of course, 92% of you urge. They’re brothers! And they’ve both had kids with Sam (Kelly Monaco). These two are destined to be family forever, so they might as well get to know each other better.
Maybe Jason can help Drew regain his memories so he’ll develop a personality of his own and not be so dependent on being a Jason Also Ran.
Never Mind
Jason is too cool for Drew, a tiny 8% disagree. Drew is an interloper, he doesn’t belong in Port Charles — or to so much as to be around Sam. The two of them are too different, and their bonding would feel too contrived.
Drew has already made it clear he’s not a mob — or Sonny (Maurice Benard) — worshipper. So, what could Jason possibly have to talk to him about? Jason is a lone wolf. He doesn’t need a tag-along brother.
