Bored To the Bone: Fans Sound Off On General Hospital’s Happy ‘Fanna’

Anna is back on General Hospital! Anna (Finola Hughes) and Finn (Michael Easton) are reunited! Anna and Finn are happy!

But are fans? Now that it appears to be smooth sailing ahead for Port Charles’ most grim couple, almost 7,000 of you sound off on how you feel about the development.

If You’re Happy, I’m Happy
Nope, 78% of the audience is grinning even as they point out how nice it is to see Anna and Finn smiling for a change.

Finn is now getting along with his brother, Chase (Josh Swickard), and Anna has finally stopped beating herself up about the son with Faison (Andres Hove) whom she gave up for adoption and never passed a day without thinking about all these years.

This was even though fans – and Anna’s beloved Robin (Kimberly McCullough) – never had an inkling about.

What was boring was watching them pout, apart and together. Now they’re finally out of the woods and enjoying life – not to mention each other – again. What could be boring about that?

Boring Is as Boring Does
For 41% of you, though, it’s tough to gauge whether Anna and Finn are boring now that they’re happy since they were pretty boring while they were miserable. And nothing has changed.

Anna may have finally introduced herself to Peter (Wes Ramsey), but she is still stressing over him. And Finn, well, has he ever cracked a smile? Other than with Hayden (Rebecca Budig)?

Oh, hey, yeah, where is Hayden? You’re not convinced Finn isn’t still thinking about his baby mama.

Sure, Anna and Finn are taking a break from their misery to focus on each other, but this is not a couple who knows how to leave their work – or their worries – at the door. It’s always going to peek in, which makes Anna and Finn not the most romantic couple GH has ever seen.
