As February sweeps reaches a fever pitch and Sam’s pregnancy nears its end, you KNOW it couldn’t end without some major drama on General Hospital.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) has had pregnancy scares from the start, first fearing she passed malaria onto her unborn child. A few other instances of pain brought her to the hospital, and just this week, a non-stress test indicated a possible problem.
Of course, that could all be child’s play for what’s about to come. Aunt Olivia (Tonja Walker) is in town, and Sam doesn’t even know it.
As she and Jason (Billy Miller) try zeroing in on who planted that car bomb that killed Morgan, Olivia might become more interested in keeping her niece quiet.
“Hopefully, all good things will happen for Jason and Sam,” ABC Executive Nathan Varni said in the February 13 issue of Soaps In Depth. “But, it’s not going to be without a little drama.
Olivia’s going to set her sights on a few of our Port Charles residents…Sam might be one of those. So, it’s going to be a wild ride. We have to see if she does give birth.”
Say what? Surely, GH wouldn’t do that to Jason and Sam–and their legion of fans. We already had to endure the couple losing baby Lila soon after they met (biological father: Sonny), and they even believed Danny was dead the first few months of his life (and that Franco was the father).
This is the first time they are having a baby they know is Jason’s after years of heartache. We just won’t believe GH will do anything to ruin it.
