Actor Tyler Christopher was a big winner Sunday night when he beat out former co-star Tony Geary for the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
It was Christopher’s first Emmy after creating the role of Nikolas two decades ago and certainly well deserved.
However, the actor himself says when he arrived home he found something much better than an Emmy statuette–at least in his eyes.
His son, Greysun, left him a perfect congratulatory note on the door telling him why Dad’s his hero. Christopher shared the note on social media.

Soap Hub also congratulates Christopher his big win and a job well done!
