Behind The Scenes: General Hospital Bids Goodbye To Matt Cohen

Last Friday, General Hospital fans saw Dr. Griffin Munro final episode as Matt Cohen left the soap.

However, the show decided to honor the milestone with some behind-the-scenes photos of the actor’s goodbye party.

The show wrote on their official Facebook page, “It wouldn’t be a #GH goodbye without cake. And now that Griffin’s last episode has aired, we can finally give you a peek inside Matt Cohen’s last day on set. #GH55”

It was a low key event with a cake that said, “Matt, Best Wishes, We’ll Miss You” — which had to make the actor feel good (in more ways than one — that cake looked yummy!) as he bids the show he’s called home for three years goodbye.

In the story, Griffin was overwhelmed by guilt and sadness due to Kiki’s murder and felt he had to leave Port Charles in order to seek out some peace for his life. As for Cohen, he’s trying to tackle directing a full-length version of his short film, Mama Bear, as his next project.
