General Hospital has a long legacy of bad girls. But which ones did fans pick as the worst… which means the best? What over 2,000 told us:
An even 50% of the audience went with Helena (Constance Towers). The best thing about her being bad? She never pretends to be good. She can’t be redeemed, she doesn’t want to be redeemed. And you love it!
A smaller 20% of you voted for Liesl (Kathleen Gati). For a while there, she was another bad girl who was as bad as she wanted to be. But then we found out that she had a sick, sad obsession with Cesar (Anders Hove). And that she kind of, sort of, loved her children, Britt and Nathan. That took some of the fun out of the loving to hate.
She hasn’t been on for a while, but 14% of the fans still voted for Heather (Robin Mattson). We thought we knew all about her bad deeds back in the late 1970s and early 1980s. But then it turned out that long before Heather and Scott (Kin Shriner) ever met – right in front of our eyes – they’d already conceived Franco (Roger Howarth). That’s what we call… bad.
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) may be presumed dead, but 9% still love her in absentia. Once she’s back, she’ll blow up even more lives, and you can’t wait for that.
Only 4% opted for Olivia (Tonja Walker), as many didn’t remember she existed. There’s another Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) on the canvas, and another Jerome sister, Ava (Maura West). And you prefer either of them to the earlier version.
Finally, 3% wondered why they should vote for Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) when she’s just a pale imitation of her mom, Liesl, and she appears to be wanting to turn good. Most of the plaudits this family earned went to her mom. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
