You know the drill. Your average Port Charles citizens become red carpet celebrities for the night in this upstate New York town as they arrive at The Metro Court for the annual General Hospital Nurses’ Ball.
Those nurses, who are just trying to make ends meet–and their more wealthy PC counterparts–put on the show, but first have to wear their finest to be interviewed and photograph like a common Emmy nominee.
And this year, the show has a brand-new host to announce those arrivals and perform those quick Q&As as inevitably someone has a cat fight or trips over their dress.
The Bachelor’s Nick Viall will be taking red carpet hosting duties, according to TV Insider. Now, this does not mean Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) won’t be doing the hosting duties inside the ballroom as the show raises AIDS awareness and the characters raise money for the cause (while putting on quite a show).
The Nurses’ Ball is set to air May 16-21 and begins taping this week. Soap Hub will keep you informed about any new Nurses’ Ball developments.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
