MISSING: Will Ava Find Reason To Fight For Avery On General Hospital (GH)?

On General Hospital (GH), Ava, the sister of a mobster and a part-time mobster herself, lost custody of her baby girl, Avery, because the judge decided she, her criminal lifestyle, and shady associates were a danger to the tot.

Ava (Maura West) lost custody to Avery’s biological father, Sonny (Maurice Benard), and his wife, Carly (Laura Wright), full-time mobsters.

Sonny shot his own son, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), in the chest one-time – but, it’s OK, he didn’t know Dante was his son at the time.

Carly’s son, Michael (Chad Duell) was shot in the head and spent months in a coma, due to Sonny’s association. And Sonny and Carly’s only biological child together, Morgan, is presumed dead, due to more mobster issues.

But, sure, Avery is much safer with them.

If Ava can’t convince a judge that Sonny is the bigger criminal, maybe she can prove that Avery is in danger now that Sonny’s Alzheimer’s-stricken dad, Mike (Max Gail), has disappeared with the little girl.

Will Ava finally get her daughter back? Almost 10,000 fans offered their verdict:

Sonny claims that nothing is more important to him than his family, and he will give his life to protect his children.

However, leaving Avery with Mike was a very, very bad call, even if Carly did think the nanny would be there at all times. In fact, 68% of you believe this will finally force the judge to see that if Ava isn’t the better parent, at least, she’s no worse. Joint custody, at the very minimum!

Daddy’s Little Girl
Sonny claims that nothing is more important to him than his family, and he will give his life to protect his children. Everything bad that has ever happened to Dante, Michael or Morgan has been other people’s fault, and Port Charles’ legal system is smart enough to see that.

As does 31% of the audience, who think Ava should just give it up. She’ll never get Avery back.
