General Hospital’s Nina and Valentin are such a wacky couple, aren’t they?
He is a formerly disfigured psychopath with a tendency to obsess over women, steal their eggs, and freeze them (the women, not their eggs).
She is a formerly comatose victim of her mother’s machinations who steals babies right out of women’s wombs and breaks into their parent-teacher conferences.
The last thing Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) did for Nina (Michelle Stafford) was pay off Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) to pretend to be Nina’s long-lost daughter.
So can you still root for these two crazy – emphasis on crazy – kids to find forever-after love? We asked almost 12,000 of you for an opinion.
Two Peas In a Pod
Yes, 54% of the audience cheers! If anything, you believe they belong together now even more than before. Who else could ever possibly recognize, accept, encourage – and forgive – the other’s dark side? Valentin understands Nina, and Nina understands Valentin in a way that defines soulmates.
Nina is a much better mother to Valentin’s daughter than her actual mother, Lulu (Emme Rylan). She can nurture Charlotte’s (Scarlett Fernandez) prima donna instincts and still scream bloody murder at any teacher who dares accuse Charlotte of being a bully. Nina has her family’s back, and they have hers. Long live the Cassadine clan!
Opposites Attract Divorce
Get over it, an almost equal 46% of you instructs. Just how many times does Valentin have to betray Nina’s trust before she realizes and accepts his true colors? This Sasha thing is the last straw.
Valentin knows there is nothing more important to Nina than finding and reconnecting with her child. Nina has put her whole heart and soul into Sasha. The truth about her being an impostor is destined to come out, and Nina will be destroyed. Get out, Nina, before it’s too late!
