On General Hospital, Lucy told Sonny she was going to make her move on Sidwell. And she wasn’t talking about romantic moves. She’s out to bring him down, and to do that, she has to deal with Ava. Lucy Versus Ava
Lucy (Lynn Herring) gave Sonny (Maurice Benard) a heads-up. She is going to make her move on Sidwell (Carlo Rota). He made a fool of her. He thinks he can have his cake and eat it too. And he infiltrated her company and is using it for his nefarious needs. Lucy basically helped him do it, not really understanding just how dastardly the man is.
Well, she knows now, and she wants to do something about it. But she needs to address her Ava problem. Ava (Maura West) is who Sidwell turns to for support. It is no longer Lucy. Plus, Ava has been acting like a wall of protection for the criminal mastermind.
She even got Laura (Genie Francis) to okay Sidwell’s helicopter flight path. And like Sidwell, she knows the pain of losing an adult child. Ava and Sidwell support each other, and he makes her a lot of money.
However, Lucy needs to get her out of the way, and so she will try to provoke Ava. Something tells us that she will need to come up with a better plan to deal with her.
Carly and Brennan: Confronted and Alarmed
On Thursday, Brennan (Chris McKenna) is alarmed. Maybe it has something to do with his so-called significant other. Carly’s chaotic life isn’t settling down anytime soon. She’s hiding a ton of things from Jack. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is in her attic, but he won’t be able to stay there much longer. He’s a man of action who will want to go ahead with their plan sooner rather than later. He has already snuck out to enlist Nina (Cynthia Watros) in his scheme to get Brennan.
And Carly (Laura Wright) is, of course, worried about her daughter, who is running around Port Charles asking people about Faison (Anders Hove), Nathan (Ryan Paevey), and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). And now Lucas (Van Hansis) is about to confront her. She isn’t happy with him still living at Wyndemere. And he has a few pertinent questions for his sister. In GH’s weekly video preview, he asks her, “What exactly will Brennan do if he finds out that you’re cheating on him?” How will Carly respond?
Britt Lets a Secret Slip
Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) is a mess. She isn’t handling learning about Rocco’s secret very well. She realizes that knowing her is what put him in a situation where he picked up a gun and shot someone. And so she tries to shut him out of her life. But she’s about to spill a secret, and it could be that she tells Cassius that Rocco (Finn Carr) told her about shooting Cullum. Rocco wasn’t supposed to tell anybody, let alone Britt. If this is what happens, what will Cassius do?
Finally, Ethan (Nathan Dean) is on alert. He and Sonny had a very revealing conversation. Ethan offered to eliminate Sidwell. But he could also tell that this was a delicate situation and that Sonny might need Sidwell alive for now. So now he’s waiting for word on when he can avenge his mother. Sidwell tried to kill Holly (Emma Samms), and Ethan doesn’t want to let him get away with that.
Until then, Ethan is to watch out for Lucy, who may get herself into trouble with Sidwell if she does something stupid. That may be why Ethan’s suddenly suspicious.
