Adios Anna! Finola Hughes Says Goodbye for the Summer

Anna finally heard the words she’d been waiting all year for on “General Hospital” so maybe she can rest easy now.

For more than a year, Ms. Devane wanted Julian (William deVry) to admit he ordered that hit on Duke that claimed her lover’s life.

She finally heard it on Wednesday, and maybe now she has some closure–just in time for Finola Hughes to have a vacation.

An Actress Gets the Vacation She Needs
Hughes takes a break each summer to spend time with her family traveling, and 2016 is no different. Last year, she even attempted to direct a film but that project fell through.

This year, she’s again heading to Europe for some well-deserved R&R. According to the July 18 issue of Soap Opera Digest, the actress plans to visit family in Italy, but you won’t miss Anna for long.

“It’s not long. We [the GH cast and crew] have a lot of downtime this summer, so I will only be away for a few weeks.”

Does this mean Anna may head out of town, too? Last year she also flew overseas to scatter Duke’s ashes and recover from his death (and shooting Carlos). Perhaps this year, Anna will make her way to California and visit Anna, Robin, and Emma.
