Top 5 Reasons Ava and Griffin Should Never Be Together!

At long last General Hospital (GH) appears to be moving forward with a love interest for Port Charles’ resident perfect man, Griffin Munro.

There’s just one problem. It looks like the object of his affections is going to be Ava (Maura West). Three words on that subject: Stop the insanity!

Read on for 5 reasons what Ava and Griffin (Matt Cohen) should absolutely never be together.

Just Plain Wrong
Griffin is an all-around good guy; a sweet, gentle soul and a former priest. Ava is a despicable lying she-devil with no conscience. Never the twain shall meet. Not ever.

Turn Around
Ava’s all humble and remorseful now that half her face and body were fried in a fire, but longtime viewers know that sweet act won’t last.

It’s just a matter of time before Ava makes a deal with Valentine (James Patrick Stuart) to have her pretty face restored in exchange for recanting her statement that she witnessed Valentine kill Nikolas.

That would crush Griffin. Let’s spare him the pain by getting him out of Ava’s orbit, now.

The Killer
It’s impossible to forgive, let alone forget, Ava’s numerous crimes. She shot Connie dead and followed that up by manipulating Sonny into shooting AJ, when AJ was on the brink of exposing her as Connie’s killer.

Then, she went after the troubled Morgan (Bryan Craig), replacing his bipolar meds with placebos and inadvertently causing his demise, when he stole a car that was rigged to blow up.

The Saint
Griffin is one step away from sainthood. He’s done nothing but good since arriving in Port Charles. Viewers have waited patiently for a love story for the good doc, and it should be with a woman who’s deserving.

A more interesting turn might be Kiki developing an attraction to Griffin and vice versa. After all, they are working together at the hospital. And think of how intriguing a Dillon/Kiki/Griffin triangle would be.

The Other Man
There’s a much better match for Ava: Scott (Kin Shriner). They’re both shady, unscrupulous, and willing to bend the law for their own good. Scott was Ava’s confidante in the whole Morgan fiasco, keeping her devious secret.

And she, in turn, kept his name out of the whole mess when the truth was exposed to spare him Sonny and Carly’s wrath. Ava and Scott belong together.
