The Port Charles Police Department may have lost a hero in Det. Nathan West, but they’ve potentially gained another in newcomer Harrison Chase, the latest heartthrob to join General Hospital!
Here are some fascinating facts you may not know about Josh Swickard, who plays Det. Chase!
1. Swickard has, not surprisingly, done some modeling in his career. The six-foot actor is represented by Wilhelmina International Inc.!
2. While we know Chase has one (half) sibling in Hamilton Finn, Swickard is the second oldest of four–he has three sisters!
3. Swickard studied accounting at College of DuPage but after two years he realized this path just wasn’t adding up so he switched to modeling and has posed for outlets including Men’s Health, Sports Illustrated, Kohl’s, and Nordstrom.
4. Swickard’s television debut was as a guest star on the Disney series Liv and Maddie; he also appeared on K.C. Undercover early on in his career.
5. Swickard’s hobbies include skiing, hiking, reading, and volunteering for non-profit organizations in Central America.
6. In March of 2018, he appeared as Rodrigo in an episode of School of Rock.
7. In addition to acting and modeling, Swickard has worked as a spinning instructor.
