Which Grey’s Anatomy Couple Will Get Married Next?

Relationships come and go like the wind on Grey’s Anatomy, but it isn’t every day that a couple decides it’s time to tie the knot. In fact, there are quite a few relationships going strong within Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital these days, but very few have actually taken the leap and gotten married.

We polled Grey’s Anatomy fans to see who they’d like to watch get married next season, and we have to say, the results were a little bit shocking. Though the Season 15 finale left us with a few question marks regarding some of the romances, here’s who the fans decided they want to see walk down the aisle ASAP.

5. Other
With just 1.3% of the vote, fans would like to see a couple not mentioned below tie the knot. The write-in vote was Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Owen (Kevin McKidd), but unfortunately, they called it quits last season after Owen realized his love for Teddy. Plus, these two already tried the marriage thing.

4. Nico and Schmidt
Nico (Alex Landi) and Schmitt (Jake Borelli) earned 3.9% of the vote, despite the fact they were arguably the cutest Grey’s Anatomy couple last season. They successfully navigated some speed bumps during Season 15, but the longevity of their relationship still hinges on if both doctors decide to stay in Seattle long term.

3. Maggie and Jackson
Despite it looking like the end for these two during the season finale (what with him walking off into the fog), 27.3% of fans still would like to see Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) get hitched next. They seemed to be stable most of last season, but that cliffhanger needs to be resolved before they even think about marriage.

2. Owen and Teddy
They only just confirmed their love for one another during the Season 15 finale, but 28.6% of fans would like Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Teddy (Kim Raver) to get married. This makes a lot of sense, not only because these two have a long history with one another, but they also just had a child together. This could happen in Season 16.

1. Meredith and DeLuca
And last but not least, with 39% of the vote, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) are the number one couple fans most want to see get married.

This is a bit surprising, seeing as they only just got together last season and appear to be in the beginning stages of their relationship. Meredith’s all about taking chances these days, so who knows!
