The Voice continues the Battle Rounds this week on both Monday and Tuesday.
During this hairy part of the top-rated NBC talent show, Addison Agen and Karli Webster representing Miley Cyrus and her all-girls team are set to take on Cyndi Lauper’s anthem, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
Addison shared some insight into this performance on Twitter Saturday while tagging her opponent to praise her “insane…talent.”
Also on tap, JHud’s team members Shi’Ann Jones and Stephan Marcellus will cover the familiar Oh Darling by The Beatles.
Representing Jennifer Hudson on The Voice Battle Rounds are Alex Joyce and Jeremiah Miller doing a rendition of Charlie Puth’s One Call Away.
Joyce stepped up to Instagram to post a selfie over the weekend, accompanied by this serious singer’s upbeat thoughts: “BE HAPPY, not because everything is good, but because you can see the good in everything.” Nice!
Meanwhile, what’s not so nice is that Alex and the rest of The Voice pack of 48 artists will need to get ready as a bunch of them will be tossed out of the competition in preparation for next week’s fierce Knock Out Rounds.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC at 8 p.m.
