The Voice is set to start the Knockouts this Monday and Tuesday on NBC. Call this the third hurdle for these musical competitors who have already made it through the Blind Auditions and the Knockout Rounds.
This next show has Kelly Clarkson advising for Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus, and Jennifer Hudson. The additional help is crucial as the mentors must whittle down their eight-member teams to five-member teams during the course of this part of the competition.
With that in mind, know that during the Knockouts Rounds, each arbiter will be allowed one steal as their singers are paired up in the ring to warble, one against the other. Unlike in the Battles, the two will not duet but rather will sing the song of his or her choice–a solo.
Then comes the hardest part: The coach who put these talents to the test against each other will need to pick only one to win the chance to try for The Voice title during the live playoffs in November.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m., ET, on NBC.
