Moore shared an incredible throwback photo of herself with Bertinelli on Tuesday, October 15, and revealed they discussed Moore’s work with Everytown, which is an organization that works to eliminate gun violence.

“I ran in to my friend #ValerieBertinelli yesterday! We haven’t seen each other in many many years and it was so good to see her. One of the topics we discussed was the work I do with @everytown and she agreed to join us!” Moore captioned the photo.

Moms On A Mission
“I love Valerie, she is a good person and a great mom. Gun violence is a crisis in America. Please join me and @wolfiesmom at #everytownforgunsafety @momsdemand by texting 644-33 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡. And this is us back in the day in I’LL TAKE MANHATTAN. Ha!”

Moore and Valerie Bertinelli worked together on the miniseries, I’ll Take Manhattan, which premiered back in 1987. It was about the wealthy Amberville family and the children’s fight to take over their father’s magazine empire. It also starred Barry Bostwick, Tim Daly, while Doug Davidson from The Young and the Restless also appeared in it.

They Take Manhattan

Bertinelli played ‘Maxi’ Amberville-Cipriani, while Moore played the character of India West, creations from the novel by Judith Krantz. The actresses obviously forged a bond and continue to have a lot in common, as Bertinelli joins Moore on this mission. Julianne Moore has been very vocal about her support of Everytown on Instagram, and she recently shared a selfie wearing “Moms Demand Action” earrings.

“Here I am in my #kentuckymomsdemandaction earrings, @senatemajldr reminding you that it has been 6 months since the House passed gun violence legislation and you have done NOTHING. 90 percent of voters want universal background checks and 70 percent want assault weapons banned. What are you waiting for? GIVE US A VOTE,” Moore captioned the photo.
