“Relationships,” Alicia Mendoza informs her boyfriend Danny on the tenth episode of Grand Hotel, “are built on trust.” The problem is that you need to tell the truth to earn trust and the truth is in short supply at the Riviera Grand – isn’t it a shame that you can’t just order some from room service?
Below are the top six OMG moments we absolutely loved from the latest episode of Grand Hotel entitled Suite Little Lies. Find out if our awesome moments match your own.
Friend or Foe
Danny’s (Lincoln Younes) ex Heather (Elizabeth McLaughlin) is in town and she’s determined to win back her man. And who should she wind up befriending? Why it’s Danny’s new girlfriend Alicia (Denyse Tontz) of course!
But the new relationship is strained moments later when they both compare notes about Danny. “He’s my boyfriend,” Heather declares but that’s funny because Alicia is also under that same impression.
A Good Question
There’s something strange happening on the sixth floor of the Riviera Grand. Every time Ingrid (Anne Winters) parks her cart outside of room 606, items go missing and she is sure she can hear activity going on inside the suite.
Helen (Wendy Raquel Robinson) relays the girl’s concerns to Santiago (Demian Bichir) – seeing as how no one has used that particular room in years. Imagine his surprise when he walks inside to find his wife, her two daughters, and her FBI-dodging husband Felix (Adrian Pasdar) inside. Seething with anger he asks Gigi, “What is that criminal doing here?”
A Fair Trade
Santiago is distressed to find Teresa (special guest star Katey Sagal) taking in the view from his penthouse balcony and he demands to know what she is doing there. Teresa is a bit put off by his hostility – this is, after all, payback for barging into her place of business the previous week.
But rather than argue Teresa has come with a proposal. Mateo (Shalim Ortiz) has alerted her to Felix’s presence at the hotel and if Santiago turns him over to her, then his debt will – most likely – be forgiven. After all, Felix stole millions more than Santiago owes so Teresa will be making a hefty profit. Although conflicted Santiago seems poised to make the trade…
Santiago confronted Felix and demanded to know the location of the stolen millions but the con artist told him that it was all gone. A war of words turned violent when Felix accused Santiago of murdering his first wife for the riches that he would inherit – the hotel included. Taking exception, Santiago slammed Felix’s face into a pillar, leaving his accuser a bloody mess.
Heart of the Matter
Yoli’s (Justina Adorno) girlfriend Marisa (Sabrina Texidor) is less than thrilled to be told about Felix’s location and his flight from the authorities. When pressed by Yoli, Marisa blows up and then shuts down. However, Marisa does eventually reveal what is troubling her – she is an undocumented immigrant and she is scared to death that someone will discover her illegal status.
After learning that Mateo is in league with Teresa – whom his new detective pal reveals is the head of the Biscayne Crime Syndicate – Danny decides to come clean to Alicia. He lays it all out for her: his real identity as Sky’s brother, the dirt he has compiled on Mateo, and he even told her of his suspicion that Santiago is privy to the whole cover-up. Alicia’s response to Danny’s honesty? “You’re fired!”
