Game of Thrones has created some unbelievable characters with exceptional storylines, but there are some characters who have unfortunately gone from good to bad — and not in an interesting way.

From having completely disappeared from the show altogether to losing a backbone, it just didn’t work out very well for these five characters. Check out the list below of our five most ruined Game of Thrones characters and see if your list matches ours!

5. Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson)
Grey Worm has always been extremely loyal to Dany. He sails with her to Westeros to reclaim the Iron Throne and never waivers, even when times were tough. But, his relationship with Missandei ended up being his downfall. He watched her get executed by Cersei and ended up turning just as mad as Dany.

4. Jon Snow (Kit Harington)
Despite being a fan favorite, Jon really doesn’t have a backbone. Ever since he started his complicated relationship with Dany, he hasn’t been able to stand up for himself or his people in the North. In fact, Sansa’s the only person who has the North’s best interest at heart. He started to see the cracks in Dany’s mental state and did nothing to stop her.

3. Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan)
Yara was so focused on becoming Queen of the Iron Islands, that she has been totally MIA for the past few episodes. After being taken by her uncle, Euron — and then saved by her brother, Theon — Yara hasn’t been around. At the very least she should’ve stood by Dany’s side as she took King’s Landing so she could kill Euron.

2. Robb Stark (Richard Madden)
Robb died in one of the most brutal ways possible, but it was really all his fault. All he had to do was marry one of Walder Frey’s daughters and that whole mess would’ve been avoided! He married for love, which is admirable, but he also broke a promise. Ned Stark’s son should have known better.

1. Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau)
Though he started out the show as the horrible guy who pushed Bran out of a window, Jaime seemed to be trying to lead a more honorable life since meeting Brienne. But, he completely ruined his seasons-long hero’s journey when after bedding virginal Brienne, he announced he’s just as horrible as his sister and headed back to Cersei.
