Callie Torres has been off of Grey’s Anatomy for quite some time now, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped thinking about her. She was such an amazing character with a unique perspective on life. She truly was one of a kind!
Though we love most of the characters on the show right now, here are five reasons we miss Callie (Sara Ramirez) on Grey’s right now.
LGBTQ Pioneer
Callie was an openly bisexual woman and showed viewers what it’s like to be a member of the LGBTQ community in today’s world. In fact, Callie is the longest-running LGBTQ character in network television history, as she appeared in 11 seasons.
She Said It Like It Was
One of the things fans loved most about Callie was the fact she always told the truth. She was never afraid to tell people when they did something wrong or hurt her feelings. Her take on life was so refreshing.
Good Friend
Callie was a good friend to the people she loved most. She was extremely loyal, almost to a fault, but it made her a person people could trust. Her incredible friendship with Mark Sloan was adorable, and we loved seeing their dynamic play out on screen.
Underwear Dancing
Who could ever forget Callie’s epic dancing?! She was known for dancing around her bedroom in her underwear every now and then, which, if we’re being honest, is super relatable. She was so comfortable with who she was, it was inspiring.
Calzona
Let’s be honest, the main reason we miss Callie on Grey’s is because of her relationship with Arizona Robbins. They were arguably the cutest couple on the show and loved each other so much. It was devastating to see them split and go their separate ways, but it sure was fun while it lasted!
