Former Bachelor star Tia Booth and Colton Underwood can finally call themselves friends after a rollercoaster of a journey together.
Colton was a contestant on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette, which is where we also found out the 26-year-old had previously gone on a date with Tia.
After being eliminated from The Bachelorette, Colton went on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise along with Tia, where they tried to give their relationship another shot.
Though they ultimately were not meant to date long-term, they were able to leave the show as friends.
Ahead of last night’s season premiere of The Bachelor, Tia took to Instagram to wish Colton good luck on his season.
“Hey @coltonunderwood remember that time you wore a sleeveless sweatshirt at the beach and we realized we were 0% compatible and solely meant to be supportive friends?” she wrote.
“Well here’s my support. Now keep your damn shirt on and go find you a gal #thiswasafterparadise #yeahitspossible #calmyourtits #thirsty #extra #allingoodfun.”
Colton commented on the photo, “Hahaha! Thank you friend.”
Tia has since moved on with a new man of her own, so it sounds like there’s no bad blood!
Both Tia and Colton took to Instagram following their split over the summer to wish each other well.
“Never ever regret following your heart. Things may not always work out as you planned, but they always work out as they should,” Tia wrote at the time.
“Thankful that this chapter of our lives has ended so new chapters can begin. I truly wish you the best, C. #peaceoutparadise #hotdogsforever #thankseleven”
Colton wrote on his own page, “Thank you for teaching me even more about myself, and most importantly, for your friendship that I know will continue far beyond Paradise.”
He continued, “Don’t settle for anything less than the world, because that’s what you deserve. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you and catch up on life someday, preferably over a hot dog dinner.”
