Sharon Osbourne, host of The Talk, has a COVID-19 update. On the heels of fellow host Carrie Ann Inaba testing positive for the coronavirus, Mrs. O, too, is sharing her status.
Sharon Osbourne Reveals She Tested Positive
“I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19. After a brief hospitalization I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.”
Back in March, Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne (Dancing With the Stars), expressed concerns for both her mother and her father (Ozzy Osburne) due to their high-risk status with the virus. “I wish there was something I could say to comfort you all,” Kelly posted in her Instagram.
“Some wisdom I could drop on you to relieve you from the fear that surrounds us all right now,” she adds. “The truth is I am scared too. Both of my parents are high risk especially my dad. If I would have known 3 weeks ago when I sent them off to panama that that was gonna be the last time I got to hug and kiss them for a while… I would have held on a little longer. However these are the sacrifices we must make. I stay home for my mum and dad.
“If you don’t have anyone to stay home for I beg you #StayHomeForOzzy,” Kelly concluded, “help put a smile on my dads face while he is in quarantine by posting a pic of your best Ozzy impersonation and #StayHomeForOzzy I love you all 💜.”
“Wishing you a speedy recovery, Mrs. O, we love you ❤️” posted The Talk’s official Instagram account. “Sending so much ❤️, Mrs. O.” wrote executive producer Heather Gray. “Wishing you a speedy recovery!”
“Love you, Mrs! Rest and get well. 😘,” posted Laurie Seidman, CBS executive for The Talk. “Praying for you and love you 🙏🏽💓🙏🏽,” wrote Nicole Scherzinger.
“Oh Sharon,” posted Amanda Kloots, who is joining The Talk next month as a regular host and lost her husband, Broadway star Nick Cordero, to it, “my thoughts and prayers are with you. Wishing you lots of rest at home and a safe recovery.”
“Sending so much love Sharon ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” posted former Talk host Aisha Tyler (Archer).
“Oh my dear friend I love you so much,” wrote Carnie Wilson, occasional guest host at The Talk. “Plz stay home. Recover quickly … I’m praying for you.”
“Sending you so much love and healing missus,” wroter Rumer Willis (Dancing With the Stars), who has also sat at The Talk table.
“Oh no, Mrs. O! My heart goes out to you!! I pray you have a speedy recovery. We all love you!!!” wrote Elaine Welteroth, who is also joining The Talk as a host next month. Entertainment Hub joins Osbourne’s loved ones in wishing her a continued recovery. The Talk airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
