Though it isn’t exactly by leaps and bounds, the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be expanding its roster by adding two new women to the mix.

Meet The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Crytal Kung Minkoff

Variety has confirmed that Crystal Kung Minkoff will be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The entrepreneur, who founded Real Coco (a company specializing in products derived from coconut), will be the first Asian American cast member to join the storied reality show franchise.

The news of her hiring comes in the wake of Bravo’s conceded efforts to diversify its programs’ casts both in front of and behind the camera.

She will film alongside returning cast members Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Lisa Rinna, Garcelle Beauvais, and Dorit Kemsley when production resumes on season 11.

Though not specified at this time, it is possible that her husband Rob Minkoff and their two children will also be featured. He is a director best known for helming the animated feature Lion King, as well as the Stuart Little films, and the Eddie Murphy vehicle Haunted Mansion.

Welcome Back Kathy Hilton

In addition to the news concerning Crystal Kung Minkoff, Variety has also reported that Kathy Hilton will be joining the series – though she will appear in a “friend of the housewives” capacity rather than become a full-fledged regular.

Hilton’s time on the reality show will most likely be spent opposite her sister Kyle Richards who stands as “Beverly Hills” sole original cast member. Their other sister, Kim Richards, starred on the program for its first five seasons before making the transition to “Special Guest Star.”

Hilton, a former actress and socialite, has been married to real estate mogul Rick Hilton since 1979. The couple has welcomed four children including media personality Paris Hilton.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which airs on Bravo, is set to launch Season 11 in 2021. Check your local listings for airtimes.
