All the bitching and all the fighting will continue with the Carrington clan.
The CW has announced that Dynasty will be returning for a third season!
And it’s not just Dynasty that’s coming back for a new set of shows in the fall. The network has additionally renewed freshman series Charmed and Legacies, along with super-hero themed series Arrow, Black Lightning, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl, as well as Riverdale and Supernatural.
“This season, we expanded our primetime schedule to six nights with the addition of Sunday — which has been an unqualified success for the network, our affiliates and our advertisers,” said Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW, in a statement.
“In addition to growing our schedule across the week, we also continue to add more year-round programming. The early renewal of these signature CW series gives us a head start on laying out the 2019-2020 season, and this is just the beginning.
“These shows provide a strong foundation for our multiplatform programming strategy, and we look forward to building on this with even more returning and new shows as we approach the May upfront.”
Dynasty stars Elizabeth Gillies (Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll) as Fallon, Nicollette Sheridan (Desperate Housewives; Knots Landing) as Alexis, Ana Brenda Contreras (Blue Demon) as Christel Jennings, Sam Adegoke (Murder in the First) as Jeff, Robert Christopher Riley (Hit the Floor) as Michael, Rafael de la Fuente (Empire) as Sam, and Maddison Brown (The Kettering Incident) as Kirby.
Alan Dale (The O.C. and Game of Thrones) stars as Joseph and Grant Show (Melrose Place; Ryan’s Hope) stars as Blake.
Dynasty airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
