The moment fans of The Bachelor have been waiting for is finally going to happen!. Viewers will learn which lucky lady Colton Underwood will choose to spend his future with on the show’s upcoming finale!
The three finalists are Cassie, Taysiah, and Hanna G. In last week’s dramatic showstopper, Colton jumped over a fence as pressures got to be a bit much. Host Chris Harrison revealed in the two-hour special The Bachelor: The Women Tell All, that the show did manage to get Colton back to complete the season, but beyond that, no other teasers were given away.
Soap Hub recently chatted with Colton, a former contender on The Bachelorette, about his experience of becoming The Bachelor and if he’d recommend to anyone else looking to find love going through this process!
How do you tune out the rest of the world and the cameras in order to tackle the task at hand – finding the love of your life?
The concept of the show is they take your phone you don’t have a lot of access to the outside world; a lot of people might think that’s unusual, but it allows you to dive in and not have any distractions. I know it works, which is why I decided to say yes to the show.
How different is it being The Bachelor from your experiences as a suitor on The Bachelorette?
I can’t put it into words. Unless you do it, you can’t really understand what it’s like to date 30 people and break 29 hearts. You put yourself out there and you’re emotionally vulnerable at all times.
How hard has it been keeping the finale a secret?
It’s tough! You’re in this weird time warp where you relive the show each week with the fans [on social media] and you see all the emotions.
You’re not seeing the part where some of the women (like Demi!) are showing sides to themselves in testimonials that paint them in a different light. The audience is screaming, ‘Don’t give her a rose!!‘
Yeah! I don’t get to see everything. The producers don’t…continue reading on the next page —>
Would you recommend this to other guys – going on the show to find your true love?
This experience isn’t for everybody. I was in a slump in my relationships. This was a way for me to push myself and get out of my comfort zone.
The show’s very entertaining for viewers, but you’re trying to find a wife.
Yes. I know it’s a TV show. I have fun and I enjoy it; it doesn’t take away the fact that you can find something real. Yeah, we’re making a TV show. Yeah, I want it to be the number one show. Yeah, I want it to be great. That’s the sense of pride I have in doing anything in my life.
Some women don’t like men who date more than one woman at the same time, but that seems to be okay on this show.
(Smiling) Yes. It changes when you’re on TV and when you’re doing The Bachelor, for sure!
Don’t miss the two-night finale to find out which lucky contender Colton may ask to be his wife. The Bachelor season 23 finale airs Monday, March 11, and Tuesday, March 12, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
