The Bachelor Releases Teaser Video of Colton Underwood As The New Leading Man

We have our very first look at Colton Underwood as the brand new Bachelor!

A short clip of the 26-year-old was posted on Instagram on Wednesday, October 31. It shows the former football star picking petals off a rose and dancing around.

“I’m your new bachelor,” he says before blowing rose petals at the camera.

Unfortunately, the new season will not premiere until January 2019, which means we have a few more months to wait until we meet Colton’s group of women.

Colton was officially announced as the Bachelor back in September, which came as a shock to much of Bachelor Nation.

“I’m very excited. Third time’s the charm, that’s what they say. That’s what I’m hoping for,” he said on Good Morning America following the announcement.

He also told Us Weekly he believes in the show and that he can actually find love on it.

“I know that this show can work. I’ve seen it with Garrett [Yrigoyen] and Becca. I know what it did for me as a person and how it helped me grow into the man I am today,” he explained.

As for the fact he’s a virgin, he’s finally learning to be comfortable with himself and the choices he’s made in his life.

“I think they’re starting to understand who I am. For the longest time, I really hid,” Colton explained.

“I was ashamed of the man I was. I think right now they’re starting to see the real Colton for who he is, it’s been awesome.”

He continued, “My family and friends have been super supportive through all this and it’s been great, just opening up about who I am.”
