Taylor Swift is not afraid to reveal what she learned from her feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The singer wrote an article for Elle magazine about the 30 lessons she has learned before turning 30.
In the piece, the singer talks about dealing with bullies and learning to move past the drama. Though she never references Kardashian or West by name, fans were quick to point out her comments are probably about the couple.
“In my experience, I’ve come to see that bullies want to be feared and taken seriously,” she wrote.
“A few years ago, someone started an online hate campaign by calling me a snake on the internet.”
She continued, “The fact that so many people jumped on board with it led me to feel lower than I’ve ever felt in my life.”
As most fans will know, Kardashian infamously called Swift a snake after she feuded with her husband, West.
“It would be nice if we could get an apology from people who bully us, but maybe all I’ll ever get is the satisfaction of knowing I could survive it, and thrive in spite of it.”
And, not only was Swift able to move past it, she was even able to incorporate the snake reference into her Reputation Stadium Tour.
“I can’t tell you how hard I had to keep from laughing every time my 63-foot inflatable cobra named Karyn appeared onstage in front of 60,000 screaming fans,” she shared.
“It’s the Stadium Tour equivalent of responding to a troll’s hateful Instagram comment with ‘lol.’”
