Taraji P. Henson Previews Cookie, Another Empire Teaser Released

The sixth and final season of Empire premieres in just one week on Tuesday, September 24, which means we’re all going to need to buckle up for one last wild ride with Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), Lucious (Terrence Howard), and the gang.

In fact, Henson shared a post on Instagram previewing the new season and her iconic character on Monday, September 16, while the show itself shared another sneak peek video from the upcoming episodes.

“Mutha #Cookie is coming to drag, slap, read for filth, protect and GET WHAT IS HERS for a final showdown in our #Empire 6th and FINAL SEASON (can not believe 6 seasons went by so fast) September 24th ONLY ON @foxtv‼️” Henson captioned her post.

In the video above, it looks like the Lyons are coming together as a family to get their business back on top. “It’s always been Cookie and Lucious, through crime, punishment, bloodshed. Somehow or another we always find our way back together don’t we?” Lucious Lyon says in the clip.
