Entertainment News: Romance and Failures

Oscar-winner Mark Ronson is officially off the market. He announced his marriage to Grace Gummer over the weekend. The actor posted a candid wedding snap on Instagram with a heartfelt caption to his new bride. We’re sure the mother of the bride, Meryl Streep, must be thrilled!

It’s over between Scott Disick and Amelia Hamlin. The reality star allegedly dumped his much-younger girlfriend over the long weekend. This news should make mama Lisa Rinna very happy. She has been outspoken in her dislike for Amelia’s choice of men.

This Week In #FreeBritney

In the surprise twist of the century, Jamie Spears has jumped on the #FreeBritney bandwagon. TMZ reports the famous father is asking the courts to abide by his daughter’s wishes and end the conservatorship. However, sources say this isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Some allege Jamie is only doing this to show the world he was right when it all falls apart.

Celebrity Scandals

Rocker Machine Gun Kelly came under fire. He’s facing accusations of assaulting a parking attendant on a movie shoot. The star denies it, but his alleged victim is not backing down. TMZ had all the details.

Entertainment News: Bouncing Babies

Grammy Winner Cardi B took to Instagram this week and announced the birth of her son. She and her husband, famed rapper Offset, welcomed their bundle of joy into the world on September 4.

Jennifer Love Hewitt welcomed her third child with her husband Brian Hallisay. The 911 actress took to Instagram to tell the world Aidan James arrived safe and sound.

Olivia Munn and John Mulaney announced they are expecting their first child together. Mulaney was excited to tell the world doing his appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant! People Magazine reports the Oscar-winning actress and husband, Cooke Maroney, are looking forward to their first bundle of joy together. Get all the details here.

Also sharing baby bump news is Kylie Jenner. She showed off her baby bump on Instagram this week. The reality star is expecting her second child with boyfriend Travis Scott.

Casting About

Justin Hartley fans will continue getting their fill of the actor. He is taking the lead in a new primetime series set to air on CBS. Hartley will be taking on the role of Colter Shaw in the television adaptation of Jeffrey Deaver’s bestselling novel The Never Game.

Young adults all around North America got a treat this week when former Blue’s Clues host, Steve Burns, touched base with his fans to mark the 25th anniversary of the show’s inception. He delivered a heartfelt message that had his fanbase (and some of their parents) in tears.

Dancing with the Stars announced their season 30 cast list. Joining already announced JoJo Siwa and Suni Lee are actors Brian Austin Green, Kenya Moore, Jimmie Allen, and many more. Find the full list here.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

The first Ronald McDonald and famed Today’s Show weatherman, Willard Scott, passed away at the age of 87 this week. He took his last breath on September 4 surrounded by family. The Today’s Show family paid tribute to their fallen friend, TVLine reports.

The acting world was rocked by the death of Michael K. Williams. The actor was found dead in his home on September 6, 2021. Best known for his role as Omar Little in The Wire (a role once hailed as TV’s greatest character). Other credits include Boardwalk Empire, When They See Us, Lovecraft Country, and 12 Years a Slave. He passed away at 54 years old.

TMZ reported the death of Tiger King zoo keeper Erik Cowie. A family friend found the Netflix star face down in his bedroom on Friday, September 3. No cause of death is known at this time. Cowie was 53 years old.

EW announced the death of Emmy-winner Michael Constantine. The famed actor passed away in his home on August 31. The 94-year-old stole hearts when he played the Windex-toting Gus Portokalos in the hit film My Big Fat Greek Wedding. He also took starring roles in Quincey M.E., Hey, Landlord, and The Untouchables.

Police Academy actor Art Metrano died at the age of 84 on Wednesday, September 8. His son, Harry, announced the death to the public. Metrano became a household name in the early 1970s during a spoof skit on The Late Show with Johnny Carson and went on to have a career spanning five decades.
