Sophie Perry Shares Emotional Photo With Father Luke Perry

Luke Perry is still missed by all who loved him but especially by his daughter, Sophie Perry, who is still struggling following the death of her father earlier this month. The Riverdale star passed away on March 4 after suffering from a massive stroke.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star’s family has had a difficult time since his untimely death, but they have all been open about their sadness on social media.

The 18-year-old took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of herself with her dad and wrote the caption, “miss him a little extra today.”

The teenager also shared a photo of herself with her dad right after he died and opened up about how difficult it is to grieve in public.

“A lot has happened in this past week for me. Everything is happening so fast. I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family, And in the past 24 hours I have received an overwhelming amount of love and support,” she wrote.

“I cannot individually respond to the hundreds of beautiful and heartfelt messages, but I see them, and appreciate you all for sending positivity to my family and I.”

She continued, “I’m not really sure what to say or do in this situation, it’s something you aren’t ever given a lesson on how to handle, especially when it’s all happening in the public eye. So bear with me and know that I am grateful for all the love. Just, being grateful quietly.”

Perry was in the middle of filming Season 3 of Riverdale when he died. The rest of the season will be dedicated to him.
