Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze have been married since 2002. On this Valentine’s Day, the couple is talking about something that they do every night! But it may not be what you think.

While the expression “do it every night” has a suggestive sexual tone, the couple says it actually refers to how often they run their dishwasher. Yep, their dishwasher runs every night. The pair has teamed up with Procter & Gamble for a campaign tied in with P&G product Cascade, dishwasher detergent.
“We all want to conserve resources in our daily lives, so Cascade spends a lot of time finding ways to help families get clean dishes, more efficiently,” Martin Hettich, vice president of P&G’s North America Home Care business, told Media Post. “That’s why we think it’s important for people to know that the dishwasher doesn’t have to be completely full to be water-efficient.”

Gellar is no stranger to mixing suds and sex. For 1993-95, she played the character of Kendall Hart on All My Children, the daughter of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci). Gellar took home the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in 1995 – the same year she excited Pine Valley. Gellar met Prinze in the 1997 movie I Know What You Did Last Summer in which they both appeared.
It was a few years before the couple started dating and even that happened by circumstance when a friend they were supposed to go out with canceled. Gellar and Prinze Jr. decided to go out alone and it’s safe to say that it worked out! Today, they have two children, a daughter, Charlotte Grace, and a son, Rocky James. Legally, Gellar switched her handle to Sarah Michelle Prinze in 2007.
