Roseanne and her tribe are getting ready to return to ABC for an eight-episode reboot set to premiere in 2018.
The brains behind the reboot tweeted some snaps of the first table read to let us know the show is on its way. The script reading took place just a day before the sitcom celebrated its 29-year anniversary.
The pic featured some performers from the original series, as well as others who have joined forces to bring the sitcom back to life.
Cast members Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Michael Fishman, Sarah Gilbert, and Becky No. 1 and 2 Lecy Goranson and Sarah Chalke were all on hand, with Chalke taking on a new role.
Also shown were Ames Mcnamara, Jayden Rey, director John Pasquin, Roseanne executive producers Bruce Helford, Whitney Cummings, and Tony Hernandez, as well as co-executive producer Sid Youngers.
But where’s Johnny Galecki who played David? Perhaps he’s at a table read for the original The Big Bang Theory, the talented actor’s most recent sitcom home.
